About

I feel my work is both modern and realist.  In my creative process I approach each project differently because I feel that they may benefit more and be more relatable to the targeted viewer if it is done in the proper style.  I understand that the overall goal is to lead the viewer to the same conclusion but at times I do like to make them work a little bit for it.

For me, coming up with the idea is my favorite part of the process.  I like to draw inspiration from the world around me.  There is nothing better than to observe my surroundings all while listening to the melodies of a song that doesn’t quite fit the scene.  It is a great way for me to clear my mind and to think outside of the box when I’m challenged with a project where I am not given a clear direction.

"The photographs Nathan was able to capture were very different then most photographers, he was truly able to capture the feelings of everyone at the wedding. He was very professional in his timing after the wedding in meeting with us to receive our pictures. Overall, it was a great experience working with Nathan Allen Studios and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great new aged wedding photographer."

"Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job with the pics for our wedding. You not only captured beautiful pictures but you were such a joy to work with. Hiring a photographer is always a big and extremely important purchase and we not only got an incredible photographer to work with but also a great friend out of it. You're pictures were loved by everyone who saw them and not gonna lie... I go back still and look at them and get emotional because I take myself back to that day and your images captured that day so perfectly."
